What can I expect when I attend a service?
Our service starts at 4:00 on Sundays. The first 20 minutes is worship through music. We sing contemporary music to God and about God; our Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who has revealed himself to humanity through his Word, the Bible. All ages of children participate in the worship through singing time. Afterwards, children ages 0-11 are dismissed to their classes where they are taught curriculum through the New City Catechism and Truth:78 according to their age. Then, we have a time of expository preaching from the Bible for about 40 minutes, presented by the pastor. Last, we pray and present our offerings and then have a time to take prayer requests to the Lord. We do not have a dress code, but most people attend in casual dress, although some prefer semi-formal. The service time takes place in a relaxed atmosphere, but with sobriety.
